Easter this year, more than any other, invites us to pause and reflect on what is important in our lives.
Usually, we all look forward to a break from work and a long weekend enjoying food and festivities with our loved ones. This year we are forced to stop. We have had to cancel travel plans; some are unable to see their relatives and we all continue to deal with the effect from this unprecedented pandemic in our own way.
Easter inspires all of us to believe in the transforming power of love. At a time in our world where fear is a natural response, the Easter season encourages us to look towards love and life.
Easter will be very different this year. We are all navigating through such uncertainty for ourselves, our loved ones and our community but we hope that the Easter spirit will still bring a sense of happiness and closeness with those in your household.
Our thoughts are with everyone who has been impacted by COVID-19. We admire and are forever grateful to the generous and life-giving response of our health care and community service workers who continue to care for others.
We wish you all a very Happy Easter together with your families and we look forward to brighter things to come!
